Attorney Michael Zoldan provides legal counsel to individuals and small businesses throughout Arizona. Mr. Zoldan’s practice is based on aggressive and detail-oriented representation, focusing on employment discrimination, wage and hour disputes, harassment, and wrongful termination. Prior to forming Shields Petitti & Zoldan, Mr. Zoldan worked for numerous law firms where he had an opportunity to hone his litigation skills by working on multiple litigation cases at a time with some of the most skilled litigators in the state.
Mr. Zoldan also has experience working as an intern for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in its Trial Attorney Department, and also as an intern for a Maricopa County State Court Judge. His practice areas include:
- Employment litigation under Title VII and Arizona state law
- Failure to pay wages and overtime litigation under the FLSA and Arizona state law
- Representing individuals throughout the EEOC Charge process including mediations
- Representing and consulting with employees and employers regarding non-compete, non-solicit, trade secret, and restrictive covenant matters
- Representing professionals in matters before associations or licensing boards
- Consulting with employees who have been discriminated against but wish to remain employed by their Company
- Consulting with small businesses on prevention strategies, risk management, employment contracts, and personnel policies
